Rode home again, taking it relatively easy. Three frustrations:
- Too much clothing. I wore my winter gear to be comfortable this morning at 6 C (43 F). At about 15 C (59 F) when I started back (uphill to St. Ismier) it felt like a sweatsuit.
- Cars. Commuting at the same time as everybody else is a drag. Not only are they roadhogs, they're also sure to win in a collision so it's up to you to slow down.
- Patchy roads. The first place they patch is down the side, where you have to ride because of all the cars. Hard to keep a steady rhythm when you're bouncing up and down and avoiding chuckholes.
Other than that, it was a beautiful day to ride, despite the headwind coming back.
