Nathalie tried out the heart rate monitor. While exercising on her bike, she had a heart rate of 131 bpm on average. She also had a heart rate of about 100... before she even got started.
Nik said today a normal rate is about 78 bpm. Mine seems to be about 77-78 bpm when I'm walking around the house after having eaten too much for dinner.

When in Lexington, I used my mother's blood pressure monitor which takes your pulse as well as blood pressure (I have a monitor but the cuff leaks air.)
The first morning, when getting up, my pulse was 62 bpm. On the second morning it was 45 bpm. It has been my experience that any time it is below 60 there is about 65% chance that it is not completely rhythmic and it was not that morning. The third morning it was 65 bpm and normal rhythm again.

Could it be that your heart drifts down while you're asleep and becomes arrhythmic?
60-65 bpm seems like a high resting rate for someone in good shape, especially someone who in the past had a resting rate under 40.
